Jimmy Wayne Altman, 88, was called home by his Lord on Sunday evening, Sept. 21, 2025.

Funeral services with Military Honors will be Wednesday at High Noon, (12:00) at Pisgah Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Church.

Jimmy was born in Loris, SC, the son of the late Wilbur Joe and Sadie Drawdy Altman.

He was a faithful member of Pisgah Methodist Church, the Asbury Sunday School Class and the Men's club.  Jimmy served in the US Air Force.  He worked at National Manufacturing as a Salesman. Jimmy enjoyed woodworking, sharing his bird houses and furniture with family and friends. He was an avid gun enthusiast. A favorite hobby was cooking and doing it in a large way.

Surviving are; his loving wife of 66 years, Lola Brunson Altman; son, Michael Wayne (Rhonda) Altman; daughter, Julia Altman (Jerome) Prosser; brother, William "Billy" T. Altman; sister, Linda (Tommy) Friar and his two special grandchildren, Jeremy Blaine (Eve) Prosser, Michael "MJ" Jarratt Altman.

Memorials may be made to Pisgah Methodist Church, 621 N. Ebenezer Road, Florence, SC  29501.
