Sumter, SC – Jessie Clifton Alexander, Jr., 83, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at his residence.

A graveside service with Honors will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the National Cemetery in Florence, SC. The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Mr. Alexander was born in Florence County, SC, the son of the late Jessie Clifton and Mavie Jolly Alexander. He was a telecommunication Operator serving in the US Air Force until retiring.

Surviving are four brothers, Russell Alexander, John Alexander, Laurie Alexander, Jack Alexander; a sister, Fran Lovelace and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry and Frank Alexander and two sisters, Alma Jean Brown and Ruth Springs.
