Jessica Shannon Howard, 41, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Born in Florence, SC, she was the daughter of the late Nancy Ruth Nash Howard and the late Charles Kendrick Howard, Jr.

Surviving are her life companion, Chad Powell; son, Joshua Austin Watson; sister, Leah Howard Burpee (Chris); brother, Mark Senn; special cousin, Michael Beckett; and numerous other family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jewel and Charles Howard; maternal grandparents, Dorothy and William.

A graveside service to honor her life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026, in Unity Christian Fellowship Cemetery.
