Scranton, SC – Jerry Allen Gaymon, 57, passed away peacefully with his wife at his side on Monday, Oct. 3, 2022.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will have a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 before the service in the Mausoleum.

Mr. Gaymon was born in Sumter, SC, the son of Herlene Rauch Gaymon and the late Wylie Gaymon.  He worked with Grand Strand Sandwich Company for 20 plus years.  Jerry was a member of Effingham Church of God.  Jerry loved to fish, camp, and spend time outdoors with his wife.  He had an antique tractor that he enjoyed riding and working on.

Surviving are his wife, Dawn Dennis Gaymon; brother, Charles (Brenda) Gaymon; granddaughter, Cynthia Yarborough; Lisa Gaymon, Tammy Beard, Amy Lambert, that were cousins but to Jerry, they were his sisters; stepchildren, Ashley Williams Mooney,

Tyler Cooper, Bryant Gray, many nieces and nephews and step-grandchildren that he loved.  He is preceded in death by a son, Derrick Gaymon and step-son, Steven Gray, Jr.
