Coward, SC – Jay Brice Strickland, 47, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020.

A graveside service will be Sunday, Feb. 16, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. at Saint Luke Cemetery near Bishopville, SC.  The family will have a time of visitation from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, Florence prior to the service on Sunday.

Jay was the store manager of the Trane HVAC Contractor Sales Office in Florence, SC.

Surviving are his father, Krom (Cathy) Strickland; brother, Stan (Eve) Strickland; nephew, Garrett Strickland, niece, Jordan Jacobs; Janice S. Dennis, his special loving companion and her children, Ashley Dennis and C.J. Dennis.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Carol Stanley Strickland.
