Florence- Janet Leftwich McAneney, 82, died at the McLeod Hospice House on June 25, 2015 after an illness.

A Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Florence. Interment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. McAneney was born in Bedford, VA, the daughter of the late Claude and Nena Wilson Leftwich. She was a member of St Anthony Catholic Church. Before retiring, she worked with the South Carolina Probation, Parole and Pardon service, Florence office. Janet was a member of the Cardiac Rehab at McLeod Health and Fitness. She was an avid bridge player and was a member of the Florence Duplicate Club.

Janet was married to the late Richard McAneney who passed away July 7, 2014.

Survivors are two sons, Timothy B (Beth) McAneney, Florence, Thomas R. (Cindy) McAneney, Charleston; s sister, Lillie McDaniel, Bedford, VA; grandchildren, Michael McAneney, Galan (Jill) McAneney, Joshua (Christin) McAneney, Taylor M. (Tom) Jenkins, Chelsea McAneney and two great-grandchildren, Jackson, McAneney and Ellie McAneney.She is preceded in death by a daughter, Julie McAneney.

Memorials may be made to the Florence County Disabilities and Special Needs, 1211 National Cemetery Rd, Florence, SC. 29501.
