Timmonsville, SC – Janell Mullen Woods, 78, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021.

A memorial service will be Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. before the service.  Social distancing will be observed and you are asked to wear a mask.

Janell was born in Granite Falls, NC, the daughter of the late, Quinton and Lucille Starnes Mullen.  She was a member of the Timmonsville Southern Methodist Church . She was a loving, giving lady, a second Mom and friend to many.

Surviving are her husband, Jimmy Woods; son, Lindon Woods; daughters, Regina (John) Snyder, Candi (Dickey) Stricklen; sister, Lorene (Charlie) Carlson, grandchildren, Dennis (Laura) Woods, Debbie (Brian) Faircloth, Barbara (Andy) Berg, Coty Stricklen, Clayton Stricklen and seven great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by a sister, Linda Moss, grandchildren, James Woods, D.J. Stricklen.
