Mrs. Jane Cusaac Crocker, 85, entered the kingdom of heaven on March 27, 2024.
Visitation for Mrs. Crocker will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home in Florence. The funeral will be immediately following at 3:00 PM.
Jane was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Barry Dean Crocker, Sr. Mrs. Crocker was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who found abundant happiness in her creation of a happy, loving home. She had a gentle nature and kind spirit that permeated every relationship in her life. "JaneJane" as she was affectionately known, found joy spending time with her family and friends, gardening, cooking, and sewing. She will be remembered for her indelible kindness, grace, and love.
Mrs. Crocker is survived by her three children: Barry Dean Crocker, Jr. of Coward, Staci (Nick) Lyerly of Florence and Jill (Steve) Lewis of Lancaster. She had six grandchildren: Cayce (Ryan) Coker of Johnsonville, Braeden Crocker and Raygan Crocker of Florence, Jacob Lyerly of Charlotte, N.C., Amanda (Jeremy) Ghent and Jon Lewis of Lancaster. She had nine great-grandchildren: Brittain Coker, McCade Coker, and Hadley Coker of Johnsonville; Kyson Dewitt, Seth Crocker, Easton Crocker, Camden Crocker of Florence; Jaxon Ghent and MorgynJaine Ghent of Lancaster. Also surviving is a brother Morris "Butch" (Annette) Cussac and numerous special nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of McLeod Hospice for the care of their mother. Also a special "Thank You" to the following; her nurse, Dan Garrison, her caregiver, Vivian Lewis and Angela McIver, her constant caregiver and friend of the family.
Mrs. Crocker was also predeceased by her parents, Hugh and Nell Morris Cusaac of Timmonsville, two sisters, Jannette Adams, and Janell "Sissy" Lamb.
