Florence, SC  - James Larry Sauls, 77, passed away on Dec. 20, 2018. Funeral services will be Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. before the service  at the Funeral Home.   Burial will take place at a later time at Florence Memorial Gardens.

James was born in Florence, SC, the son of the late Clyde and Odessia Richardson Sauls.  He graduated from McClenaghan High School.   He was a long distance Truck Driver for many years.

He was married to the late Yvonne Poulas Sauls.  Surviving are his brother, W.M. (Iris) Sauls, three step-sons, Seth (Cynthia) Quarles, Tug Quarles, Vic (Vicky) Quarles and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
