Jaime Lyn Atkinson, born on January 29, 1975 in Florence, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

Jaime Lyn was a talented hair dresser and make-up artist who started her journey in beauty at cosmetology school. She was known for ambitious pursuits and adventures. 

Jaime Lyn is survived by her mother, Jerra Moore Gaskins; her father, Clarence Lee Atkinson, III "Rennie" and his wife Jan; her uncle, Anthony Cleo Atkinson "Uncle Tony"; her brothers, Christopher Lee-Paul Atkinson (Megan), Byrant Gainer, Ryan McNure; her sister, Lindi Vickers; and many nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by one son, Truluck Jeremiah Atkinson-Martin.  She was a loving mother and a extremely dedicated and strong advocate for her son.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday April 20th 2026, at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home in Florence, SC. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Byrd Cemetery.
