Jamie Lyn Atkinson, born on January 29, 1975 in Florence, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026.

Jamie was a talented hair dresser and make-up artist who started her journey in beauty at cosmetology school. Jamie was known for ambitious pursuits and adventures. 

Jamie is survived by her mother, Jerra Moore Gaskins; her father, Clarence Lee Atkinson, III "Rennie" and his wife Jan; Her uncle, Anthony Cleo Atkinson "Uncle Tony"; Her brothers, Christopher Lee-Paul Atkinson (Megan), Byrant Gainer, Ryan McNure, and a sister Lindi Vickers, and many nieces and nephews.

Jamie is survived by one son Truluck Jeremiah Atkinson-Martin.  Jamie was a loving mother and a extremely dedicated and strong advocate for her son.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home in Florence, SC on Monday, April 20th 2026. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, followed by a graveside service at Byrd Cemetery at 2:30 pm.
