Jacquelyn "Jackie" Matthews Adams, 76, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020.

"Jackie" was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Clarence and Lyda Mae Harter Matthews. She was an inspector with Avondale Manufacturing Company in Olanta before her retirement.

Surviving are; her husband, John S. "Jack" Adams, Jr., a daughter, Tammy Locklair;  a sister, Diane Pigate; three grandchildren, Lauren Adams Stuckey, Hunter Adams and Jordan Locklair; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a son, Wade Adams and a sister, Linda Parkhurst Bryant.
