Jackie E. Watford, 80 of Timmonsville, SC, passed away on Jan. 24, 2024 after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Salem Methodist Church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will have a time for visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. before the service at the church.

Mr. Watford was born in Florence County, the son of the late Bryant L. and Mary Louise Pearce Watford.  He was a member of Salem Methodist Church. Jackie retired from the Telephone Company.  He did telephone service and installation for the Bell System.  He enjoyed working and restoring classic cars in his spare time.

Surviving are; his wife, Rachel Dennis Watford; two sons, Greg (Erica) Watford, Chris (Laura) Watford; brother, Jerry (Mary Frances) Watford; sisters Shelby (David) Smoak, Mary Ann (Ed) Wiggins; two grandchildren, Nathan Watford and Grant Watford.  He is preceded in death by a brother, William Bryant Watford.
