Timmonsville- James Harry Gibbs, 69, died at his residence on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016 after an illness.

The family will have a memorial service on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the residence at 502 Mt. Carmel Rd, Timmonsville.

Mr. Gibbs was born in Florence County, the son of Roy N. and Ruby Mae Welch Gibbs. He was the owner of Harry Gibbs Front-end Shop for many years.

Surviving are his wife, Janice F. Gibbs; a son, James J. Gibbs; three daughters, Laura (Cosmo) Brockington, Michelle (Tracy) Powers, Sherry Larymore; two sisters, Nancy Louise Gibbs, Betty Dixon and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
