Timmonsville- Ida Dell Parrott Langston,84,died Friday, August 21, 2015, in a local hospital after an illness.

A graveside service will be Monday, August 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Florence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home,Florence.

Ida Dell was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Charlie M. and Lou Ellwyn Kelly Parrott. She was a member of Peniel Baptist Church, Timmonsville. Ida Dell worked with Oxford Textile for more than 20 years. After the closing of Oxford, she did alteration work in her home. She enjoyed doing crafts and love to work in her flower garden.

She was married to the late Clifford Langston.

Surviving are two daughters,Debbie (Ricky) Badgett, Mt. Airy, NC, Jean Garner Corriher, Timmonsville; John Morrow her neighbor, who was like her son; two grandchildren, Misty (Brad) Goodwin, Garth (Natalie) Badgett; four great grandchildren, Brooke Watford, Brittany Watford, Zane Watford and Della Bess Badgett. She is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lisa Kinard and five brothers, Freemont, Wilbur,Theodore, Kelly and Frank Parrott and six sisters, Alma Adams, Addie Mae Ballentine, Ruby Parrott, Lucille Hepburn, Blanch Coward, Margie Watson

The family would like to thank the Staff of Carolina Home Health, Agape Hospice, Carolina Hospital, Dr. Frank Lee, Jr., Dr. Daniel Owens and Dr.Christopher Paramore for the love and care shown to the family them during this time.
