Florence, SC – Hulda Stokes Klumas, 72, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Oct.. 20, 2021.

A graveside service will be Monday, Oct. 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Florence National  Cemetery.  The family will have a time of visitation  after the service at 1052 Greenview Dr., Florence.

Mrs. Klumas was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Hazel C. and Ethel Cockfield Stokes.  She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Hulda attended Winthrop College and was a graduate of Palmer College.  She worked as an accountant for many years and in the last few years did private accounting .

Surviving are her husband of 45 years, John George Klumas; two daughters, Celeste Witherspoon, Ashley Klumas and her fiancé Tommy Odom; brother, Billy (Amy) Stokes and her grandchildren, Mary Hanna Witherspoon, John Tayler Lancaster,  special niece, Carison Stokes and step-grands, Savana Odom and Thomas Odom.
