Mr. Hubert "Milton" Anderson, 68, entered into rest on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at his home.

Born in Florence, SC, he was the son of the late Hubert "Bun" and Bobbie Lou Thomlinson Anderson. Milton was a man whose life was deeply rooted in music, with a remarkable knowledge of artists and a passion that could be felt by everyone around him. He found great joy in attending concerts, where he connected with the music he loved. He was also a devoted fan of Star Wars, a universe that brought him endless excitement and wonder.

Above all, Milton was a good man and a devoted father. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and genuine empathy for others, always ready to lend a listening ear or a helping hand. His love extended to all living things, especially animals, and he had a special place in his heart for his dogs. Milton will be remembered for his warm spirit, his compassion, and the love he shared so freely with family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Pitts Anderson; son, Matthew Owens; sister, Susan Wiggins (Jeff); nephews, Jeffrey Wiggins, Kody Pitts; niece, Kayla Sims (Travis); great-nephew, Jackson Sims; mother-in-law, Windola Pitts; brother-in-law, John Pitts (Ann); best friend, Clay Williams (Cindy).

The family will host a celebration of Milton's life from 12pm until 2pm on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the home, 5349 Langston Rd., Timmonsville, SC 29161.
