Hubert "Bun" Elias Anderson, 87, of Timmonsville, died on Nov. 9, 2015 in the Hospice House after an illness.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015 at Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will follow the services.

Mr. Anderson was born in Florence County, the son of the late Fred Lee and Wilma Langston Anderson. He was a member of Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church. Hubert served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. His working career involved farming and for 60 plus years owned and operated Anderson Grocery Store. He was a member of Oak Grove Masonic Lodge #378.

He was married to the late Bobbie Lou Tomlinson.

Surviving are his son, Milton (Joy) Anderson, Timmonsville; his daughter, Susan (Jeff) Wiggins, Montgomery, Alabama; a sister, Mary (Ralph) Garrison, Florence; grandchildren, Matt Owens,Jeffrey Wiggins,II, and many nieces and nephews.
