Darlington, SC – Howard E. Kunder, 70, formerly of Mulberry Grove, Illinois, passed away at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence on January 24, 2018.

Mr. Kunder was born in North Lima, Ohio, the son of the late Jack and Dorothy Hasness Kunder. He served his country in the US Air Force. He was a former partner of Buckeye Donkey Ball for 20 years. Howard was the owner-manager of the Cedarbrook Campground of Mulberry Grove for 30 years. He was a lay speaker of the Presbyterian Denomination and various churches around Bond and Fayette Counties.

Surviving are his wife Donna; a son, Robert (Kim) Kunder; daughter, Mindy (Adam) Neal; step-children, Tracy (Sharmon) Cummins; Tina (Mike) Starley; brothers, Paul (Betsy) Kunder, David (Teresa) Kunder, half-sister, Patty (Dave) Polaski; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Kunder.

A celebration of Mr. Kunder's life will be held this summer in Mulberry Grove, Illinois.
