Timmonsville, SC- Henry Clay "Ray" Norris, Jr. 51, died on Tuesday afternoon Oct.20,2015 from injuries in a job related accident.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Lake Swamp Baptist Church, Timmonsville, SC. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday Evening from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, Florence.

Mr. Norris was born in Florence County, the son of Henry C. Sr. and Sarah Martin Norris. He was a member of Lake Swamp Baptist Church. He served with the Lake Swamp Fire Station #15 as Lieutenant. Ray was a Trade Sec 2 with the SC Department of Transportation for more than 20 years.

Surviving are his parents of Timmonsville; his wife of 26 years, Gena Isgett Norris, of Timmonsville; a daughter, Amanda Norris; two sons, Clay Norris and William Norris all of Timmonsville.
