Olanta, SC – Helen Jane Knotts  Gaymon, 79, went to be with her LORD on Tuesday evening, August 17, 2021 with her family at her side.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 20, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy, Lake City, SC.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gaymon was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Rance and Myrtle Howell Knotts.  She was a dedicated member of Camp Branch Church of God of Prophecy, where she served as the Secretary/Clerk for many years.  Helen was a loving Mother and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially gardening with her granddaughter and attending NASCAR racing with her grandson.  Helen leaves a legacy of faith and love for others.

Helen was married to the late Dexter Gaymon.

Surviving are three daughters, Amy (William) Lambert, Tammy (Lorne) Beard, Lisa Gaymon; sister, Betty Knotts; grandchildren, Cody Beard and Madison Lambert.  Also are special children, that were like her own, Linwood (Crystal) Beard and Kelley Beard.

She is preceded in death by brothers, Sonny, Lee, Tom, Olin, Bud, Billy, Richard and a sister, Ida Thompson.
