Timmonsville, SC – Heather Marie Obrien (Brown), 43, passed away on Thursday, September 1st, 2022 in a local hospital surrounded by her family.

Heather was born in Florence County, the daughter of Michael Ernest Brown Sr and Hazel Suzanne Parker.  She lived life to the fullest.  She taught her boys all about southern manners. Heather attended Timmonsville High School.  She was an account manager with Marriot for 6 years.  Her favorite flowers were sunflowers and daisies.  Heather and her boys loved singing together, especially the song "Wild One".

She leaves behind her two sons, John Charles Obrien, age 15 and Collin James Obrien, age 13; her father, Michael Ernest Brown, Sr (Floyd Locklear); her mother, Hazel Suzanne Parker; her brother, Michael "Sonny" (Regina) Brown; nephew, Andrew James Brown; nieces, Alyssa Faith (Zach) Thompson and Lanie Grace Brown; a great niece, Kaleighann Grace Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, James R. "Sonny" Sewell and Rose Maire Huggins Sewell, and her paternal grandparents, James E. Brown and Elwood B. Brown, and her great niece, Kacey Rose Thompson.

A memorial service will be held at Layton-Anderson Funeral home on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 1:00p.m.   Family will visit with friends and guest after the service.
