Hazel Plyler Ridenhour, 90, died peacefully with her family at her side, Thursday evening November 17, 2016.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Hazel was born in Stanley County, NC, the daughter of the late James B. and Retha Lowder Plyer. She worked at Vulcraft, a division of Nucor, as a Scheduling Manager.

She was the wife of the late L.D. Ridenhour to whom she had been married for 66 years.

Surviving are: two sons, Rev. Jim Ridenhour, Lynchburg, Chris (Debbie) Ridenhour, Hartsville; a daughter, Brenda (Mike) White; a brother, Elworth Plyler; a sister, Jewell Lambert; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
