Florence, SC – Harriett A.  Hatchell, 79, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

Graveside services will be Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Ms. Hatchell was born in Florence, SC, the daughter of the late Otis David and Claudia Hewitt Hatchell.  She was a graduate of McClenaghan High School.  Harriett retired with 30 years of service at DuPont Industries.  She loved golfing, traveling and in her younger years trips to Myrtle Beach and sunbathing.  She had an eye for sports cars.  She was the owner of a Little MG, two Corvettes and at present a BMW.

Surviving are three sisters, Joyce Lunn, Dianne (Johnny) Moore, Brenda (Kenneth) Kirby; nine nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by a brother, David Hatchell.
