Florence, SC, Hannah Denise Skipper, 17, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Florence. Interment will follow the service at Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will have a time of visitation Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lake Swamp Baptist Church, Timmonsville, SC.

Hannah was born in Florence, SC, the daughter of John and Tiffany Mecham Skipper. She was a senior at West Florence High School, and played short stop for the West Florence Varsity Softball team. Hannah loved working with the special needs children at school. She spent the summer working at Camp River Rats.

Survivors are her parents of Florence; a brother, E. Bose Skipper; maternal grandfather, Jap Mecham and his wife Christine; maternal grandmother, Karen Freeman Welch and her husband, Lonnie; paternal grandparents, John and Sallie Skipper, maternal great-grandmothers, Evelyn Hanna, great-grandmother, Ramona Roman, maternal great-grandfather, Elmer Mecham; her aunts and uncles, Tammy and Chad Clark, Heidi and Chuck Oates and her cousins, Emma and Walker Clark and Madelyn Oates.

Memorials may be made to the West Florence Varsity Softball Team, 221 N. Beltline Drive, Florence, SC 29501.
