Florence- Gracie Joyce Dease, 72, died in a local hospital on Friday, July 15, 2016.

A graveside service will be Sunday July 17, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. at Lake Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Gracie was born in Darlington County, the daughter of the late Lawton and Ella Welch Stephens.

Surviving are a daughter, Crystal (Josh) Phillips, Florence; two brothers,Ron (Judy) Stephens, Darlington, Larry (Marie) Stephens, Timmonsville; sister, Wanda (Robert) Cook, Timmonsville; grandchildren, Josh, Jr., Haley, Trinity Phillips; three special nieces, Cristy Privette, Brittany Hardee, Tonya Phelps.
