Florence, SC – Gloria "Lois" Boan Horne, 72, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. The burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will have a time of visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gloria was born in Hartsville, SC, the daughter of the late Matthew and Ellen Boan. She was a member of West Florence Church of God. Gloria was the manager of Gibson One-Stop Convenience Store for 20 years.

Gloria was 1st married to the late James K. Rigsbee and 2nd married to the late James W. Horne.

Surviving are three daughters, Trena (Roy) Harper-Smith, Darlington, Jan (Russell) Todd, Maggie Valley, NC, Penny (Travis) Kiker, Charleston, SC; seven grandchildren , Nikki (Robbie) Blackmon, Robin (Mike) Brown, Amber (Chris) Gilstrap, Britney (Blake) Howell, Tony Sullivan, Lee (Frannie) Kiker, Savannah Kiker and seven great-grandchildren, Michael, Kayla, Grayson, Luke, Bailey, Leah and Breleigh; and her sweet canine companion "Maggie". She is preceded in death by brothers, Jim, Archie, J.C., Horace and David Boan and sister, Nolia B. King.

Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, 4210 W. Palmetto Street, Florence is assisting the Family with arrangements.
