Glenda Fountain Bryant 79, passed from this earthly home to a new home greeted by her husband, mother and father on Monday evening, Dec. 2, 2024.

Services will be Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024 in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m.   The family will receive visitors and family prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Byrd Cemetery, Timmonsville.

Mrs. Bryant was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, the daughter of the late Carl and Nettie Mae Gardner Fountain.  She was an Insurance Agent for many years before retiring and moving to the beach.  She attended Grand Strand  Community Church.   Glenda always greeted you with a smile and a wonderful sense of humor.  She enjoyed her home life, family, watching Hallmark movies, spending time cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and all aspects of Christmas.

She was married to the late Ken Bryant for 43 years until his passing in 2022.

Surviving are her daughter, Rhonda B. Blackmon; brother, Franklin (Judy) Fountain and her grandson, Sgt Bryant Blackmon and his wife Sarai.

The family would like to THANK her caregivers, Diane Lukas, Sandy Kelly, Rose Jack and Karen Porter.
