Timmonsville- George Haughn, 81, died December 14, 2015 after an illness at McLeod Hospice.

A memorial service will be Friday, December 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Mr. Haughn was born in Asheville, Ohio, the son of the late Ralph and Florence Deckert Haughn. He was a supervisor with a garment mfg.company before retiring.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mary Emma Stone Haughn, three sons, Charles Timothy Haughn, John Austin Haughn and Jeffery Keith Haughn; brothers,Dwight,Glenn,James,Byron and John Haughn.

Surviving are a daughter, Donna H. (Chuck) Brown, Mullins, sons, Robert (Neta) Haughn, Tim (KimreyAnn) Haughn, Lee (Ginny) Haughn of Florence, seven grandchildren; Austyn Haughn, Christine Haughn, Wendy Haughn, Josh (Brittany) Brown, Raija Haughn, Emilee Dorrell, Keels Haughn; and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Janet H. Hutchinson, Betty H. Braskett, Helen H.Toole, Donna H.(Bill) Martin of Asheville Ohio, Elsie H.(Walter) Dill of Pensacola Florida.
