Florence, SC – Gail Redick McKenzie, 73," beloved mother and wife", passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021.

Graveside services will be Monday, December  27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will have a time of visitation from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Mrs. McKenzie was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late George Pressley Redick and the late Aileen Anderson Redick.  She was a graduate of Lamar High School.   Gail was a member of Grace Baptist Church.  Gail will be remembered by many that shop at Hamrick's as a lady with a soft voice and sweet smile.

Surviving are her husband, G. Barnette McKenzie; son, John (Lesia) McKenzie; two grandchildren, Tyler Hodge and Jessica M.  (Justin)  Scott.  She is preceded in death by a brother, George Redick.
