Darlington, SC – George William Cox, 65, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022.

A memorial service will be announced soon.

Mr. Cox was born in Florence County, the son of the late George and Ila Mae Floyd Cox. He was a Long Distance Truck Driver for many years.

Surviving are two sons, Derrick (Jennifer) Cox; Billy (Wendy) Cox; two daughters, Samantha (Jason) Cox, Leah (Chris) Burpee; brothers, Danny (Carol) Cox, Kenny (Daisy) Cox, Mitchell (Donna) Cox; and a number of grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Cox and David Cox.
