Frankie Hill O'Neal, 87, departed from this earthly life to enter into her new heavenly dwelling on Monday, Dec 9, 2024.

Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Northgate Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Florence.  The family will receive family and friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. O'Neal was born in Florence County, one of seven children born to Walter E. and Maude Stricklen Hill.  Frankie graduated with a nursing degree from McLeod School of Nursing  and spent years of service in the office of Stokes Eye Center, McLeod Medical Center, Honorage and Folk Nursing Facilities for 56 years.  She was a member of Northgate Baptist Church, teaching the ladies Senior Sunday School for 40 years. She was married to the late Robert L. O'Neal.

Surviving are a son, Glen E (Sandra) O'Neal; daughter, Amy (Mike) Malkiewicz; brother, Willis (Mildred) Hill; sisters, Helen Goss, Mable Jane (Meredith) Watson, Faye (Albert) Nissen, Nelva (Jerry) Evans; four grandchildren, Riley (Lauren) O'Neal, Bailey O'Neal, Gracyn (Coby) Jennings, Daniel (Katie) Malkiewicz; two great grandchildren, Scarlett and Everette O'Neal and a host of nieces and nephews.  She is preceded by a sister, Frances McKay.
