Frankie Linton Evans, 93, went to sleep peacefully June 4, 2024 in the presence of her family and woke up in her heavenly home.

Funeral services will be Friday June 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.  The family will have a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.

Born in Florence County, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Ena Gandy Linton.

She enjoyed spending time with her church family at Quinby Methodist Church where she was a member.   Her family was a very important facet of her life. She was married to the late Lawrence Evans, who passed away in 2019.

Surviving are her son Ken Evans and his wife Carolyn; granddaughter, Ludie Moore and her husband Jerry; great-grandchildren, Kathleen who called her "PaMaMa" and Harleigh.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Lonnie Linton, Jr, Ray C "Buck" Linton and a sister, Katherine Helms.
