Frank W. Kea, Jr.

Timmonsville- Frank W. Kea, Jr. 69, died suddenly Monday, Jan 26, 2015 at his residence.

A funeral service will be Wednesday , Jan. 28, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the service until 8:00 p.m. A private burial will take place in Summerville on Friday.

Mr. Kea was born in Florence County, the son of the late Frank, Sr and Grace Windham Kea. Frank was the owner/operator of Frank's Barber Shop located at Huggins Airport since 1995. He was an accomplished flight instructor and pilot. He also worked as a welder.

He was married to the late Debbie Brailsford Kea.

Surviving are a daughter, Christi Amerson and her husband, Mackey, Lamar; a sister, Annie K. Baxley, Greenville; one grandchild, Robert Keath Grim; a cousin, Kathryn Cox, that was like a sister, his special companion, Maxi Bischof; two nephews and 1 great nephew.
