Frances Alice White, 96, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025 after a brief illness.

Graveside services will be Wednesday afternoon April 16, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Byrd Cemetery.  The family will speak to those attending after the service at the cemetery.

Alice was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Victor Daniel, Sr. and Addie Lee White.

She was a graduate of Carolina College of Commerce.  Alice retired from C & S Bank in the Operation Center.  After she retired, she went back to work at the Gift Nook at Magnolia Mall for a period of time.

Surviving are her special caregiver, her niece, Linda Broadwell and her husband, Joe; great niece, a nephew, Joe Broadwell, Jr., Julia and her husband, Chad Jernigan and her loving buddies, Brody, Crosby and Chloe, also, other nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her brother, Victor Daniel (Serena) White, Jr, Charles E. White, Sr., Joseph Lee White; sisters, Mildred W. Hicks, Annie D. Jones and a cousin that was like a sister, Merita B. Hammond.
