Timmonsville, SC – Frances Saverance Vause, 95, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016.

A graveside service will be Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 at 4:00 p.m.at Bethany Cemetery near Timmonsville.

Frances was born in Florence County, SC, the daughter of the late Thomas Ellis and Daisy Anderson Saverance. She was a member of Bethany Free Will Baptist Church. She served in various organizations of the church.

She was married to the late James Vause for 67 years prior to his death in 2006.

Surviving are her children, James I. "Ike" (Phyllis) Vause, Jr; daughter, Frankie (Thomas) Campbell: five grandchildren; Itaska, J.I.III, Gwen, Jarvis and Steven and a number of great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by sisters, Ella Mae Lee, Nelda Davis, Virginia Boswell, Laura Kelly and two brothers, Legrande and Thomas Saverance.
