Florence-Felicia Corbett Howell, 89, passed away Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015 in a local hospital.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. The family will speak to visitors after the service. A private interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Timmonsville.

Born in Lee County, Felicia was the daughter of the late James Lawrence and Etta Ruth Stafford Corbett. She was a graduate of Timmonsville High School. Before retiring, Felicia was the switchboard operator for McLeod Regional Hospital for 20 years.

Surviving are a son, Lee (Sharon) Howell, Charleston; four daughters, Pat (Ken) Kennedy, Summerville, Lynn (Dwight) Jenkinson, Charleston, Sylvia (Mike) Graham, Greensboro, GA, Lucie (Steve) Cumbia, Florence and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
