Evelyn Zorn, 92, passed away on Thursday evening Sept. 25, 2025 after an illness surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral service will be Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home, Florence.  Burial will follow on Thursday, Oct 2, 2025 in the Irwinville Cemetery in Irwinville Georgia.  The family will speak to those attending the Tuesday service following the service.

Evelyn was born in Lakeland Georgia, the daughter of the late John Dobs and Avril Robinson Sirmans. She loved to cook and enjoyed spending time with all her children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren. She was the manager of the Boutique Shop for years. Other employment included working in the textile industry for years.

She was married to the late Emmette Zorn.

Surviving are; her children, Elaine Brown, Ailene Bennett, Emmette Zorn, Havey Zorn,III and John Zorn; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
