Florence, SC – Eunice Hanna Bateman, 85, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018.

A memorial service will be Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Pisgah United Methodist Church. The family will have a time of visitation at 1:00 p.m. before the service at the church.

Eunice was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Doland Wesley and Louisa Ard Hanna. She was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. She worked in the Child Care Program at Ebenezer Baptist Church before retiring.

Surviving are her husband of sixty-five years, Samuel J."Jeff" Bateman; three sons, Sammy (Gayle) Bateman, Wesley (Suzanne) Bateman, Tim Bateman; two sisters, Beatrice Stone and Beulah Spell. She is preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Hanna.
