Timmonsville, SC- Eula Bell Freeman Parnell McCaskill, 88, passed away at her residence on Friday, August 4, 2017 after an illness.

A funeral service will be Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Lake Swamp Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Eula was born in Clarendon County, SC, the daughter of the late Dudley W. and Lillie Jordan Freeman. She was a member of Lake Swamp Baptist Church. Before retiring she was the Clerk for the Magistrate office of Timmonsville for many years.

She was first married to the late Charles M. Parnell, Sr. and then to the late C.W. McCaskill.

Surviving are three sons, Charles M. (Viola) Parnell, Effingham, Dennis J. (Sharon) Parnell, Robert F. Parnell, all of Timmonsville; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
