Coward, SC – Ettie Carol Ottinger, 75, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

A graveside service will be Friday, May 5, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Unity Christian Fellowship, Timmonsville.  The family will speak to those attending after the service at the gravesite.

Mrs. Ottinger was born in Lumberton, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Harold and Sudie McDuffie Potts.

She is survived by her husband, Rea F. Ottinger; two daughters, Michelle Faircloth, Sudie (Billy) Carter;  step-sons, Aaron (Gina) Ottinger, David Ottinger; sister, Teresa (Roger) Hammond;  grandchildren, Sheena Carter, Stacy Carter, Billy (Chapel) Carter, II, Aaron Ottinger, Jr, Chance and Dalton Melvin; great-grandchildren, Jermine, Sabrina, Faith, Sammie and Breeze.  She is preceded in death by a son, William Edward Melvin.
