Timmonsville, SC – Ernestine Roberts Morris, 86, passed away on Tuesday evening, Sept. 5, 2023.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 8, 2023 at 12:30  at Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church in Timmonsville, SC.  The family will have a time of visitation following the service. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Morris was born in Galivants Ferry in Horry County, the daughter of the late Archie and Winnie Shelley Roberts.  She was a member of Sparrow Swamp Baptist Church, Timmonsville.  Ernestine graduated from the McLeod School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.

Ernestine was married to the late Dewey Morris.

Surviving are a brother, Wayne (Judy) Roberts; sisters, Doris R. Hammond, Robbie (Don) Cameron-Bell, Linda R. (Dennis) Phipps, Bertie R. Wood; sister-in-law, Hilda Roberts Freeman and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank her faithful caregivers, Nair Dasilva and Barbara Watford for the comfort and care given to Ernestine.
