Timmonsville – Emily Dean Anderson, 90, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.

A graveside service will be Friday, April 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Swamp Baptist Church cemetery. The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Ervin E. and Mallie Lawhon Oliver. Before her retirement, she was a supervisor at Oxford Drapery Company in Timmonsville. After retiring, she enjoyed working with ceramics and making dolls.  She was a member of Lake Swamp Baptist Church.

She was married to the late "Sam" Anderson.

Surviving are her children, Johnny (Kaye) Anderson, Jr. and Julian (Cindy) Anderson of Darlington, Larry (Gloria) Anderson and Jean (Alvin) Broach of Timmonsville; nine grand-children, nineteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and numerous step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by twelve siblings.
