Darlington, SC -  Emile McLaughlin Pierce Murray, 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 8,2019.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Northgate Baptist Church, Florence.   Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  The family will be at home of Faye and Eddie Joye, 3030 W Woodbine Ave., Florence, SC at other times.

Emile was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Henry and Sarah Bell McLaughlin.She was a member of Northgate Baptist Church.

Emile was first married to the late James Allen Pierce.

Surviving are her husband of 6 years, James "Jim" Murray; sons, Ronnie Allen (Debra) Pierce and Jim Murray; three daughters, Elaine (Sandy) Sandusky, Faye (Eddie) Joye, and Kay (Bruce) Armstrong; a brother, Jimmy (Joanne) McLaughlin; three sisters, Meredith (Scott) Barrineau, Patricia Rogers, and Jeanette (Buck) Ham; her seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
