Darlington, SC – Elsie Faye Dorriety McElveen, 73, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019.

A graveside memorial service will be Friday, Sept. 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in Byrd Cemetery, Timmonsville, SC. The family will speak to those attending after the service.

Faye was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Victor and Thelma Floyd Dorriety.

Surviving are sons, Terry Scott McElveen, Victor Dane McElveen; brothers, Charles (Linda) Dorriety, Ronnie (Annette) Dorriety, Wayne (Cheryl) Dorriety, Dennis (Kathy) Dorriety; sister, Cynthia Thigpen, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, Marion Todd McElveen; a brother, Steve Dorriety and sister, Dianne D. Nesbitt.
