Elizabeth Norris Sweatt, 82, of Timmonsville passed away Saturday, June. 28, 2025.

Born in Benttesville, SC,  she was the daughter of the late Cornie J. and Merleen Norris.  Elizabeth Norris Sweatt lived a life defined by compassion, resilience, and unwavering love for those around her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose heart always had room for more.

Elizabeth married William T. Sweatt, with whom she built a warm home filled with laughter,generosity, and steadfast devotion. Together they raised four children, three sons and one daughter who carry on her spirit and strength.

Surviving are her husband of 59 years, William "Bill" Sweatt ; three sons, William T. Sweatt, II and his wife, Anne and their sons Blake, Brady, and Logan; Cornie Lee Sweatt and his son, Thomas Lee;  Christopher Bruce Sweatt and his wife, Wendy and their children, Emma Grace and Caleb; one daughter, Kelly Sweatt LeVine and her husband, Jeff and their sons Jacob, Dylan and Banks; two cherished great-grandchildren, Dean and Lilah; one sister, Linda Rogers and her husband,Benji.

Elizabeth was known for her kindness and spirited determination. She had a generous heart, a green thumb, and a contagious laugh. Whether she was helping her neighbors, tending to her garden, gathering with loved ones, or dancing hand-in-hand with her husband, Elizabeth lived and loved fiercely.

She departed this world surrounded by her husband and all her children, a farewell enveloped in the purest love. To be so cmpletely surrounded by family in those final moments is a testament to the life she led and the legacy she leaves behind.
