Florence-Elizabeth Ann Jenkins Pratt, 72, died in a local nursing facility January 20, 2016 after an illness. A memorial service will be Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.The family will speak to visitors after the service.

Mrs. Pratt was born in Charleston, SC, the daughter of the late William and Anna Doscher Jenkins. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Florence. Elizabeth graduated with an associate degree from Palmer Junior College of Charleston. She worked at the US Navy Shipyard as a secretary and later she was a substitute teacher in the Florence Public School System.

She was married to the late Robert Pratt who passed away in 2013.

Surviving are; a son, Marcus A Pratt, Florence; a sister, Mary Evans, Charleston, SC and a niece, Anna Marie and a nephew,Joe Evans.
