Timmonsville – Elizabeth Conyers Ivy, 91, died at her residence on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015 after a brief illness.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 in Byrd Cemetery, Timmonsville. The Reverend Bobby Timmons will be in charge of the service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Ivy was born in Darlington, the daughter of the late Talmadge Garrette and Fannie Viola Thames Conyers. "Lib" was a member of Bay Branch Free Will Baptist Church. She was employed with Darlington Mfg. for 20 years and later worked at Allied Dept. Store in Timmonsville.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Herbert Ivy, Timmonsville; a son, Tillman Isaac "Ike" (Linda) Locklair,Conway; a daughter, Laura Jean (Gary) Gillette, Sarasota,Florida; five grandchildren, Ann (Marlon) Howell, Donna (Jeff) Mishoe, Kimberly Boyd, Lisa Jordan, and "Sonny" Emerson; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and two very special nieces, Wetona Warren and Rachel Norris. She is preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Lee Woodcock and a brother, Frank Conyers.
