Pamplico, SC – Elizabeth F. Bruce, 70, passed away peacefully in the early morning of  Friday, Oct. 20, 2023.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023 at 3:00 p.m., in the chapel of Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery in Pamplico.  A time of visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. before the service.

Liz was born in Florence, SC, the daughter of the late J.B. and Bertha Cox Stone. She retired from DuPont in Florence.  Liz  loved spending time with her family, especially, her grandchildren. Surviving are a son, Michael Bruce; daughters, Becky (Robert) Purvis, Kim (Rusty) Poston, Lindsey (Scott) Flowers; sisters, Patricia Knotts, Darlene (Mickey) Todd; her  nine grandchildren, Bradley, Hanna, Sera, Samantha, Ellie, Charleigh, Paisley, Lawson and Owen.  She is preceded in death by brothers, Donnie and LeVerne Campbell, sister, Brenda Keefe, former husband and best friend, Frank Munn.
