Timmonsville- Eleanor Jordan Anderson, 83, went to be with the Lord Wednesday morning, May 13, 2015 with her son and daughters at her bedside.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Swamp Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Timmonsville, SC, the daughter of the late David Johnson Jordan and Eulee Stokes Jordan. She was a member of Lake Swamp Baptist Church. Eleanor was a member of the Timmonsville Garden Club.

Eleanor was married to the late Milton H. "Bud" Anderson, Jr.

Surviving are her children, Milton H. "Tripp" (Melly)Anderson, III, Timmonsville, daughters, Melanie (Ed) Sprenger, Jennifer (Dwain) Robinson all of Florence, Carla (Bart) Watford, Hartsville; a brother, David S. (Mary Lynn) Jordan, Greenville, Alabama; a sister, Joanne Jordan (Joe) Fogle, Spartanburg and her grandchildren, Hannah and Madison Sprenger, Shane and Cassie Watford, Blake and Brooke Robinson, Heyward, Heylan and Heidi Anderson, many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by a brother, Francis Marion Jordan.

The family would like to thank Embrace Hospice for their loving care shown to Mrs. Anderson and the family during this time.
