Timmonsville, SC – Eldon Davis "Bubba" Brown, Jr, 55, passed away on Wednesday, December 02, 2020.

The family will have a drop-in visitation/viewing Friday afternoon, Dec. 4, 2020 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Layton-Anderson Funeral Home. Friends and relatives are welcome to drop in at the home of Gail Brown, 345 Bristol Street, Florence.  A private family burial will be held at a later time.

Mr. Brown was born in Florence County, the son of Willaree Miles Harrelson and the late Eldon Brown, Sr.  He worked as a residential and commercial carpenter.

Surviving are his mother; sisters, Tammy Childers and Gail Brown; his children, Mitchell Stevens, Mamie Smith and Calip Floyd ; nine grandchildren and his best friend, William "Snooky" Jackson.  He is preceded in death by a brother, Henry "Buddy" Brown and a son, Jack "JD" Brown.
